"When I started looking for another Beauceron after the passing of my Luc, I saw the ad that Margo had placed on the NABC website, as well as Dog Fancy.

I proceeded to ask my uncle that got me started with the Beaucerons what he thought of the du Canis Dirus dogs. He said that if Margo has a pup available he wouldn't hesitate to get one because she knows the Beauceron.

As luck would have it a pup was still available. Sure he was a cute pup, but what I've come to appreciate the most is that I can take him anywhere and do about anything with him. He is what any prospective breeding dog should be, conformationally correct, but more importantly of solid and amiable character.

So when it came time to find a potential mate for my boy Solomon, I returned to what I knew, and was once again received a dog with beautiful conformation and that oh so important soundness of character in Ushas (Ushas des Fugues de St. Alban is from Roland Collignon in France).
These dogs exemplify the versatility of the Beauceron with beauty, brains, and heart. But, it's their heart that makes them a part of my family."

Amy Gibbs , DVM, MS (Animal Behaviorist), Beauceron owner since 1995, owner of Ushas and Solomon, neice of NABC Past President Ron Eltzeroth.
