We, ourselves, breed only a few litters per year, both in the USA (since 1990) and in France (since 1985). We are the only American Kennel with dual residency! From Europe, we are able to import to the USA only the highest quality puppies, carefully chosen from each litter, from the best bloodlines available. Our goal is to provide clients in the USA and Canada with a diverse breeding gene pool producing quality animals. We specialize, in particular, in the care and raising of the puppies, their socialization and their habituation to situations, sounds, and stress. Our experience in importing/exporting dogs, with all the formalities, paperwork, and guidelines for the best transport, permits us to guarantee you the acquisition of your puppy under the best circumstances.

Margo Brady has been involved with the Beauceron breed for 16 years and is the Past President of the American Beauceron Club. She also held positions on the Board of Directors and as the Registrar for many years. Her contributions to the club included the institution of a National Specialty show called a Journée every year in the USA with official French judges, as well as the tedious and difficult task of getting the club recognized as the Breed Parent Club through the AKC.
Margo is a UKC conformation judge and has enjoyed titling her own dogs in Obedience and Tracking. Living in Minnesota, she has used her Beaucerons for dog sledding, competing in both freight and sprint races, and skijoring.
Her breeding program focuses on excellent temperament, correct conformation, and soundness of health: mind and body. Her experience as a college instructor in Anatomy/Physiology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as her degree in Zoology/Biological Anthropology, and Master's Studies in Animal Physiology have helped her put her education to work as a breeder.
Currently, Margo runs the Brady Equestrian Center in northern Minnesota, and concentrates on breeding and importing Beaucerons and Berger Picards. She also has a residence in the French Alps which allows her to visit the home country of these two breeds on a regular basis. Speaking fluent French has allowed Margo to sit down with breeders and judges of both breeds to discuss and fully understand the bloodlines and their characteristics. She shares her life with her son, age 10, and his American-bred, old-fashioned, level topline German Shepherd, her daughter, age 8, and her French import, English style Yellow Lab, a Scottie dog on the farm, three wonderful barn cats, and, in the house, an Egyptian Mau, a Siamese, and a CFA Gr. Ch. Turkish Angora cat.

A third generation breeder, Roland Collignon is an expert in the choosing and raising of puppies. He is also professional dog trainer, specializing in problem solving. A 1982 graduate of the the National University in St-Gervais d'Auvergne in the Canine Program: Training & Breeding, Roland was the winner of the Breeder of the Year Scholarship Award from Pedigree/PAL in 1988. If you read French, you may be interested in his book " Éduquer, c'est facile! " on basic dog training/problem solving.
His training experience of all breeds has allowed him to participate at hunt tests, field trials, in dog sledding with 9 Siberian huskies with a Beauceron as lead dog, and in Ring Sport/Personal Protection, and Police K9 training. In April 2006, he was invited to ride along with the Police K9 officers of Lafayette, Louisiana in order to watch the dogs "at work." He has also trained dogs for disabled people in wheelchairs (German Shepherds and Giant Schnauzers). Roland has competed in skijoring with one and two Beaucerons, winning the national races in both France and Switzerland in 1992, against professionally sponsored teams!
He has worked with Margo Brady for the past 15 years breeding and importing quality dogs to the USA and Canada, becoming an expert in accomplishing the transport, the paperwork, and getting the puppies to you in a happy and safe manner.

Roland's father, Yvon Collignon, was the President of the Working Dog Commission for the Club des Amis du Beauceron and was one of the first breeders to export quality puppies to the USA in the 1980's. His primary concern was solid, strong temperament in dogs who met the standard.
L'Élevage des Fugues de Saint-Alban continues this tradition in producing one or two litters per year, with a portion of the top quality puppies regularly imported to the USA.
